The Hanoi-Sapa journey passes through some of North Vietnam's most beautiful landscapes. Is the road dangerous?
No, provided you have an experienced driver. The Noi Bai-Lao Cai highway is modern and well-maintained. The mountain road between Lao Cai and Sapa is winding but passable year-round, except during heavy snowfall above 1,500m in January-February.
Can we leave directly from Noi Bai Airport?
Yes. This is one of the great advantages of a private car for travelers arriving on straight flights. The driver greets you at arrival and drives you nonstop to your accommodation in Sapa.
