Frequently Asked Questions

What about altitude sickness on Fansipan?

At 3,143m, some may feel short of breath, but since the cable car ascent is fast, severe altitude sickness is rare. Take it slow when climbing the stairs at the top.

What if the weather is foggy?

Fansipan is often in the clouds. Your guide will try to pick the best window for the ascent. Fog can also create a mystical atmosphere over the mountain temples.
